This workshop aims to devise and project messages through the image. They will learn to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, two of the most widely used computer programs in web design, graphics, and photography. Content: Chapter 1 Introduction to the discipline of graphic design • Introduction to graphic design as a language of communication. • The creative process. • The basic elements of visual language. • Typography and image. • Concept of visual hierarchy. • Introduction to graphic composition. Chapter 2. Adobe software • Introduction to Illustrator: workspace and main tools. • Introduction to Photoshop: workspace and main tools. Program Objectives • Provide a vision of the discipline as a language of visual communication. • Understand and know how to express themselves using the vocabulary of graphic design. • Provide the student with the ability to understand and deal with visual communication problems. • Familiarize the student with the creative design process. • Increase creativity. • Learn what the designer's technology and design tools are for communicating a visual message. • Acquire the necessary knowledge to apply them in work environments.
